How I first became interested in Russian ladies...
"I had put my profile on a personals web site (kiss.com) and the only woman
who wrote to me was a Russian girl named Oksana Petrova. She was 27 living in
Magadan. I had never thought about trying to meet someone from another country before. Especially after my trip to Sydney, Australia where I found
American men were not well liked by foreign women.
I corresponded with this girl for a few months. She said she wanted to come
visit me and told me that a tourist visa would cost her about $230. At that
time I had no idea it was so hard for Russian women to come to America. I sent her the money by Western Union. Later, I was even about to send her the
money for a plane ticket (more than $1,000) but she stopped writing to me. I wrote to the men who have the web site fianceevisas.com and they informed
me I had been scammed.
But I was so intrigued by all of the Russian women I saw on the web sites that I continued writing to more of them (a costly venture since most of
them use a marriage agency to correspond with American men.)
But I met a girl close to where I live who I started dating and became serious with her. So out of respect for her I stopped writing to my Russian
lady friends. Eventually this girl confirmed my suspicions that American women are just
not right for me. She broke up with me after four months of "I love you."
I was still very interested in writing to Russian ladies, but I wasn't sure
I wanted to continue to spend so much money to correspond with them. But I found a free personals web site (matchdoctor.com) and began writing to more
ladies. I wrote to several who wrote back to me. But it didn't take very long to
realize which one of them was the best woman for me. The fact is I am a Christian and I know she is a serious Christian as well. I've found that
most Russian women call themselves Christians because of their Orthodox heritage, but many of them are atheists.
Her name is Elena. She is 21 years old and lives in St. Petersburg. We have
been writing to each other everyday for more than 5 months now. We talk on the phone and chat on the Internet almost every week. And tomorrow I leave
for St. Petersburg to visit her for the first time. The trips to Russia, the
phone calls the cost of a fiancee visa etc.... It's all very expensive, but
she is worth every dollar.
So when I return I will send you my photos I'll take and let you know how my
visit went. Incidentally, I have wanted to see St. Petersburg ever since the
end of the Soviet Union.
I guess many dreams can come true!

“Dear Natasha, I am planning to go back this winter. Probably, when I go back here family will allow us to have an official engagement. |
She will study in the University for two more years to get her Master's Degree in
Linguistics. It will be very hard to wait for 2 more years, but she is well worth
waiting for.
Many of the things we did together in Petersburg were things she was doing for the first time because she usually doesn't have the money to
take some of the tours that are available there.
