DEAR RUSSIAN WOMEN!
Thank you for visiting my website!
Since many of you ask me:
"WHY WEBSITE FOR RUSSIAN WOMEN IS IN ENGLISH?"
I decided to place my explanations on Our Community page.

First, I want to thank all of you, who signed my Guest book and sent me your emails with encouragement and support to my project. Some of you were wondering in your emails and messages: why this site is in English?

I want to let you all know that this website has been started and maintained by only ONE person - me! I have started this project because I felt very lonely in the U.S. without my friends and relatives, which I left in Russia. When I started my first page, my computer did not "speak Russian" and I had no ideas how to "Rusify" it. I figured out that if we all live in the English-speaking country, most of us can read and understand English. I did not study programming before, so it was a very difficult task for me to accomplish. I started from one page and now I have added more than 40. for me it was a lot of work! (I have a full time job and I do my website free of any commerce). During my work on this website I had many technical problems and I didn't have anybody to advise me.

Gradually, I am getting more knowledge in website development. My next big project is to make a copy of this website it Russian. (Or at least some of the pages). I wish I have enough facilities and opportunities to accomplish this task sooner! But even if it may take a lot of time and efforts, I am willing to try.
I completely agree with those of you who believe that this site should be in Russian. I mean, to have a copy in Russian, because I want that the native people could understand it too. It is not a secret, that for the majority of the native population Aliens from Russia (and this is our official status until we get a Green Card) are even more strangers than the aliens form the 3rd Rock Planet! Since we all made a choice to live abroad, we must give an opportunity to the native people to get to know us - Russians. We have to tell them true information about our life here, to introduce them our culture, traditions, and give them a chance to explore our unique Russian Mentality.
Dear Russian Women!
The future of this website depends totally on YOUR HELP!
That is why I have repeatedly asked for your help. I have already several Russian girls who were very helpful. One of them, Nataliya from MD, wrote her advice for Our Community page. The other, Nataliya from NJ (it is funny, but I have met dozen Natashas since I started this website !) helped me to set up a new Message Board instead of old one, which was deleted by my Internet Host provider.

I sincerely wish that every woman who comes abroad can check this site and find friends at her own city or, at least, state, find useful info, read the stories of other Russian women and simply feel better.

Sincerely Yours,
Natasha
