For people looking for their One&Only in Russia the main question is:
HOW CAN I MEET HER?
If you have already built a relationship with one (or several) females from Russia through correspondence and are ready to meet them personally you have two options:
VISIT HER IN RUSSIA
INVITE HER TO VISIT YOU

The best way is to do both before you make any serious decision. I advice you to visit Russia first. You will definitely enjoy your trip. You will have a chance to get to know unique Russian history, architecture, culture and traditions. It will be beneficial for you whatever the results of your meet. At the same time, you will become more aware about the life style of your Russian friend, will have an opportunity to meet her family and friends. Give her an initiative in choosing your daily activity and you will understand her preferences, likes and dislikes.

IF YOU ARE READY TO GO TO RUSSIA YOU WILL NEED PASSPORT AND VISA.
Foreigners should be in possession of a valid national internal or foreign passport for entry and exit from Russia. Foreigners can enter or leave Russia by transit through Russia with or without a visa. Visa for entry and exit from Russia are issued by the Russian Consulate and Consular Departments of Russian Embassies abroad.

TO OBTAIN A VISA THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE PRESENTED TO THE CONSULAR OFFICE:
A valid passport, fully completed visa application, three recent passport photos 3x4cm, plus:

To secure a TOURIST VISA - a letter from travel agency and a copy of the Intourist notice confirming the booking of tourist services
To secure a TRANSIT VISA - a ticket (or voucher for a ticket) with confirmed dates and itinerary of transit travel through Russia, as well as a letter from the travel agency with Intourist's confirmation of service provided on arrival and departure, transfer and excursions in points reserved by the client;
To get an ORDINARY VISA - an invitation from an organization or friends, residing in Russia.

The above mentioned documents should be presented in advance to the Russian Consulate in your country, in accordance with the rules established by them.
